Ninja Runner

On my run last night (the only double-workout run of the week) I frightened, not one, not two, but three people, who apparently did not hear the footfall of the 5'9" woman approaching them. This may or may not be attributable to my ninja skillz. Your guess is as good as mine, really.

My stealthy ways are fast disappearing with the rather loud cough I've developed, complete with hacking noises. We're supposed to have happy hour after tonight's run. I was also supposed to attend a political happy hour before proceeding on to a BTC meeting over our staged reading of Into the Pool, Or the Cheshire Cat Mourns the Death of the American Dream (henceforth to be known as "ITP" in future blog posts). The play is an original work by one of our company members, Dan. It really is pretty extraordinary, to have that kind of writing talent in your midst on a daily basis. And he's a good actor, too. That's the kind of skill I'd like to have. I'm not doing a great job of keeping my head up or my eyes open at the moment so all three of those things may not be in my near future. Never mind the fact that I'm flying to the Berkshires this weekend for early Thanksgiving.

I will note that I am excited about running in the Berkshires. It looks really beautiful.

Please tell me you had on a ninja mask as well? That would've made the scare even better HAHA

oh, Bershires! I live about 3o-45 minutes from there, depending on the exact place that you go. I can attest to their beauty! I've run a few races there. Enjoy!

Ha ha -- my verification word is irace! Yes, blogger, I do.
