Oops!

I'm searching for the little USB cable that will allow me to upload my pictures from Madison, complete with a truly awesome race report.

I just can't seem to find the cable, but I know I brought it with me. If it somehow ended up in storage, forget it. The only pictures you'll be seeing are pilfered ones from the interwebs. But my running buddy extraordinaire, Jen, did manage to upload a few photos, so here they are for your perusal...


This is me, rounding the corner for the finish. I was really flying at this point and feeling so great. I'm the girl in the white singlet and black shorts. Duh.


Heading down the street, with the Memorial Student Union on the left. All I could see was the clock. All I could think about were cheese curds and beer. I was really, truly excited. About the PR and the food stuffs, I mean.


All of the Lakefront Angels after the Madison Mini...Jen and I PR'd, and Jane once again came thisclose to getting her sub-2hour half marathon. It'll happen someday! I'm hoping it happens for me too, but I'm going to try and get there in increments. Since cutting my time by 3 minutes seems to be the magic number, I guess the next step for me is going to be a 2:07?


In case you're wondering, not only did I PR, but I also won a drinking contest. You forget how cheap booze is in college towns! My drink tally for the night was 11. It felt like 20 though. And thus I am reminded that even when you win a drinking contest, you lose!
