
Sticking with the Star Wars theme, I'd like to talk to you a little about things that hurt in the night. And the daytime.
Such as, the area below my right knee, in between the shin and the knee. Yesterday, after I ran on it, this area started to hurt. All day. I felt twinges...something between actual pain and tightness. It was worrisome enough that I skipped run #2 in favour of a ride on the stationary bike. Up the stairs hurt, down the stairs hurt. I tried stretching and ibuprofen. I forgot about icing.
It's feeling a little better today, but I still cross-trained in the AM instead of running. We're in the peak training month now, and I don't want to leave anything to chance. I'm still debating whether or not to bike again this evening or get a short run in. We do have 20 miler #2 this weekend, and I want to be all good for that, so I don't know just yet...

Ugh! Sorry about your injury. Do take it easy. I think the biking will definitely help.
