Boooooooooooored

Okay, it has been well over one month since my mysterious injury. OVER ONE MONTH. I should be fine now, right? I've been a good girl. I haven't gone running. I'm eating fairly well. I'm cross-training. I mean come ON...I should be able to run now.

Because seriously, it feels like it has been FOREVER plus one month since I've run. I miss it. I miss my running people. I miss being the only crazy person on the Lakefront path at 5 AM. I miss journaling about running. I miss blogging here about the boring things that happen when I run or think about running.

I have withdrawl symptoms of the worst kind. I've had to back-peddle and change my running plans for the year. No more Cleveland marathon (although that's in large part due to money and having to travel to Ohio the following weekend for a wedding) and even the MCM looks a bit dicey (again, due to another f*$#ing wedding).

Luckily, the weather is still ass-numbingly cold. I can conceivable get away with not running outside due to hazardous conditions. Even though I enjoy running in such conditions. I'm going to attempt to run on a treadmill for a little bit next week to see how the foot is feeling. If it is still nagging me, then I'm going to have to actually make that doctor's appointment that I should have made back at the end of November.
