Because that's all that I was doing during my run. Normally, my asthma acts up if it's really humid. It's been under better control since I started running, interestingly, but when the humidity is high, I can feel myself struggling to breathe. This morning, the weather was lovely. It was in the mid 50's and not humid at all. Still, as I returned home, I got that familiar sensation where it feels like someone is squeezing the air out of my lungs and only letting me use a very small portion of them to breathe.
Scary.
So this weekend, I'll be running 8 miles solo, as I'm hanging with my cousin in Naperville. I think it's a sign of progress where I don't look at 8 miles as a death march where I'll need a support system. I can handle 8 miles solo.
I will also be trying out Bikram Yoga this weekend. I've heard it's very hot. I've heard that I may feel dizzy, and will need two towels.
Sounds like Saturday night! (that's what she said)
I will let you know if I manage to survive or not. My cousin takes the class on Saturdays in Naperville. She said that apparently, the goal of the first class is to make it until the end of the class.
What was that I was saying about humidity?

That sounds awful! I hope that the asthma flare-up was just a fluke. It sounds like it shouldn't have happened w/that weather. Maybe there was something weird in the air, though. Yuck!
Hope you're feeling better. Have a good weekend!
Oh no! Hope the asthma leaves you alone. Glad the running is helping.
Enjoy the yoga and your weekend!
Man I can't believe you're gonna do hot yoga. That class scares me LOL
