Thus, NAM was temporarily halted as I couldn't get out of bed this weekend. Okay, I did get out of bed to go to the bathroom, church, and Whole Foods. But other than that, I stayed trapped beneath my down comforter and electric blanket, orange juice and cold/flu meds by my side. And that trip to Whole Foods nearly ended with me passing out. I kinda feel like I did during the mono-half-marathon days. So, I'm hoping it's not Mono. Again. Yikes.
I'm at work today, mostly because I had to get to physical therapy. We're continuing on with the gradual-increasing of hamstring-engaging activities. So far, so good. I have another appointment on Friday, and then we may progress to running. Hearing other people's horror stories at PT reminds me that I'm pretty lucky in terms of health and that it could have been a whole lot worse. One young man sitting next today to me won't be able to run again for a year at least. It's just another reason to stay positive and remain grateful for the good things I have. These legs will be back on the road again someday!

Hope you feel better. You have such a positive attitude. You WILL DEFINITELY RUN someday soon. Hang in there!
Ick. No fun. But NAM stops for NO ONE!
I have mono, too...Monoorangeosis, that is. I can't hear anything orange, taste anything orange, or see anything orange. In fact, I can't even see half of what I just wrote.
Seriously, feel better soon:)
