Oh, Snow

If there's weather that I hate to run in almost as much as heat, it's cold and rainy. That was what I woke up to for my 5K predictor run this morning. It wasn't that cold, really...the mid 30's, but cold enough with a rather heavy rain that made me think twice about going for a run.

But, I did anyway. I was slightly off my "predicted time" of 28:30 ish. I came in at 29 minutes, and probably could have been faster, but I was hungry and tired so I don't think I really pushed as hard as I could really. It's all good though, I still averaged 9:24 per mile! I likes that indeedy.

Now it is snowing. I'm still glad that I ran this morning. Definitely less slippery out than is the current footing. I did go to the gym after work. Alas, I missed Runner Boy. There's always tomorrow though!

In related news, I'm extremely pissed that I haven't received my March issue of Runner's World. I'm sure this is all the fault of the mail delivery system in Chicago. I'd hate to suspect the nefarious motives of my neighbors.

I can't even run that time in optimal conditions. Good on you!

Hope you get to see Runner Boy again soon. Fingers crossed I see mine tonight! :)
