If you were wondering, I did end up doing the NYC Ballet workout yesterday morning. It just felt so weird to not be running in the evening! I mean...I came home, I ate dinner, I built a cabinet, I watched the debates, I sat around...you get the picture. It just felt weird. And I'm still so very hungry! This is getting to be a bit ridiculous...first I finish a box of cookies on Tuesday night(yes, the entire box), then last night, whilst watching the debate, I made about four cups of tea and had more than a few handfuls of cashews. Finally, today, I ate the Chipotle burrito.

The. Whole. Thing.
And you know what? I'll probably be hungry again when I get home. Yeah, that's right...I will be more than willing to eat again. And again.
This morning I had a lovely run in the rain. The weather is much cooler now, and the humidity is lower, which makes rainy runs that much more fun. Right at this very moment, I am resisting the urge to go for a run this evening. Oh Taper...why must you torment me so? Tomorrow's run is only seven miles, and thus ends the long run cycle of this summer's marathon training. I can't believe we've got less than two weeks until the Chicago marathon. Pretty crazy, right?
Thanks to the suggestions of a few of you, I'm thinking of starting my own virtual half-marathon in January, for those of us unable to travel (damn you, economy!!!) to nice, warm locations with fruity drinks. If you're down for running a half marathon in your own backyard sometime mid-January, let me know and I'll try and be creative about times, prizes, and booze.

I feel the same way about the time just flying by! I'm not in taper phase yet...so I haven't gotten to that point of restlessness. It's probably all good--it means you're ready!
Stick to your taper plan!!! Yes, it will taunt you, but stick to it!
Have a good weekend!
keep sticking to the taper plan :) it will be here so soon!!
YUMMM i love chipotle!
Make it a 5K and tell everyone they have to run in summer running apparel as if they were down at the beach. That'd be hilarious :)
